Positive actions in Earlswood

On Thursday night you may have noticed PCSO Avery and PCSO Davis seizing a car which was left causing an obstruction on the causeway. This will help send a message to deter others from also leaving the cars on the passing point. Furthermore, already this evening, PC Bradley from Stratford SNT has stop searched a male on Malthouse Lane, finding cannabis on his possession. This was seized for destruction and the male in question will have to complete an online course in cannabis awareness as this was his first offence.   

Both positive actions took place while the officers and staff were conducting targeted ASB patrols around the lakes, as part of Operation Minwear. Earlswood lakes is now a mandatory patrol area of an evening for officers evented to Operation Minwear. Operation Minwear runs seven days a week. 

As a reminder, as of May Operation Kaval will also return which will see increased patrols from the local SNT around the lakes in addition to the Minwear Patrols. This timing is based on what you told us in the recent community survey.
